1. Controller

The controller of speakster.pl is Joanna Patyk-Taous, running a sole proprietorship under the name Patyczanka, NIP (Polish tax ID) 7772916524. Contact: the email address published at patyczanka.pl.

2. What we collect

The site requires no registration and no login, and collects no personal data through forms. The Generator, Draw & guess (in "Class guesses" mode), the Rebus maker and SOS run entirely in your browser, without sending anything to a server.

3. Server logs

The hosting provider automatically records standard server logs (IP address, time of access, URL, browser type) on the basis of the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR, keeping the service secure). Logs are kept for up to 90 days.

4. The "Speakster guesses" mode in Draw & guess

If you switch Draw & guess to "Speakster guesses" mode, your drawing (an image, nothing else) is sent through our server to a third-party image-recognition model provider (Anthropic PBC or OpenAI, depending on current configuration), solely to guess the drawn word. We do not store the drawing or link it to any person; the model provider processes it under its own privacy policy. The legal basis is the controller's legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in offering this optional feature: you turn it on yourself, and without it Draw & guess works normally in "Class guesses" mode, sending nothing outside the browser.

5. Fonts and libraries

The site's fonts are hosted on our own server, so your browser does not connect to Google's or any other company's servers for that purpose.

6. Cookies and browser storage

The site sets no marketing or analytics cookies of its own. Your choice of interface language and of learning language is remembered in your browser's storage (localStorage) and in the page URL, and whether you have seen the intro screen is remembered in sessionStorage; none of this data ever leaves your device.

8. Your rights

You have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, and lodge a complaint with the Polish data protection authority (Prezes UODO, uodo.gov.pl).
